Therapeutic work requires therapeutic communities for adults too.

Therapeutic Practitioners

We don’t employ support workers. We develop therapeutic practitioners who master the craft of relational care.

This is skilled relational work. Not simply supervision, shift-cover or behaviour management. We help adults develop the emotional presence, therapeutic understanding and reflective capacity needed to create real change in children’s lives.

Early Stage

Developing therapeutic parenting, co-regulation, safeguarding, emotional containment, relational presence and understanding trauma through everyday shared life.

Growing Stage

Developing reflective capacity, therapeutic conversations, leadership, emotional resilience and deeper understanding of behaviour, systems and relationships.

Advanced Stage

Contributing through leadership, mentoring, specialist practice, management and helping shape therapeutic culture across the organisation.

Development Happens In Real Time

Growth here is intentional.

Therapeutic understanding is not developed through isolated training days alone. It grows through reflective spaces, shared thinking, challenge, mentorship and everyday practice.

Group Reflective Practice

Every two weeks, teams come together with the Therapeutic Lead to think deeply about children, relationships, dynamics and the emotional life of the home.

Work Discussions

Practitioners present real relational dilemmas and knotty situations to the group in order to unlock deeper understanding and more effective responses.

Therapeutic Parenting

Our bespoke Therapeutic Parenting programme equips practitioners with key relational skills and principles through small-cohort learning and live application.

DDP Level 1 & 2

Senior practitioners and leaders develop advanced developmental and attachment-informed understanding through DDP training pathways.

Case Reviews

Teams align around each child’s developmental journey and primary task, then translate insight back into everyday care.

Coaching & Supervision

Support, challenge, accountability and growth are held through relationship, not left to chance.

Home-Grown Talent

We grow therapeutic leaders from within.

Development at My Tribe is not a one-off training course. It is a pathway of increasing contribution, responsibility and mastery, held through relationship, reflection and real opportunities to lead.

INVESTING IN OUR ADULTS

Supported adults create stronger
therapeutic communities.

Therapeutic work asks a great deal emotionally. We believe adults perform best when they feel supported, valued, connected and invested in over the long term.

Private medical & wellness programme

Available to all adults who pass probation, because wellbeing is not a side issue in therapeutic work. It is part of sustaining people to do meaningful, emotionally demanding work well.

Bespoke Level 4

Small-cohort therapeutic development programme focused on relational practice, reflective confidence and deeper developmental understanding.

Bespoke Level 5

Therapeutic leadership programme designed to grow leaders who can hold teams, shape culture and translate ideas into everyday practice.

Come As You Are

Your individuality is welcomed here.

We believe therapeutic communities become stronger when people feel able to bring their real selves into the work — their personality, creativity, humour, lived experience, insight and individuality.

We will work hard to help you perform at your best, grow in confidence and contribute meaningfully to the life of the organisation.

Shared values, emotional responsibility and commitment to children are non-negotiable.

This Work Will Ask Something Of You

Meaningful work always does.

This work requires emotional presence, consistency, accountability, reflection, patience, courage and the ability to remain connected during difficult moments.

There will be days that stretch you. But there will also be moments of profound meaning, growth and human connection that stay with you for life.
